Sameba — Holy Trinity Cathedral

The construction of the Cathedral was completed in 2004 to commemorate 1500 years of autocephaly of Georgian Orthodox Church and 2000 years from the birth of Jesus.  The construction of the church was proclaimed and a “symbol of the Georgian national and spiritual revival” and sponsored by anonymous donations from citizens.
